Bahram’s instrument is the Persian santoor, a traditional stringed instrument said to be able to produce the sound of emptiness. In addition to the santoor, he began playing the Persian setar and ney, a Persian bamboo flute. Soon after, he began to sing along with his music, which has had an authoritative character so far: he often quotes the poems and wisdom of mystical poets like Rumi.

His music is a special combination of the ancient and the traditional, a fusion of Rumi’s spiritual poems with modern and technical rhythms that invite meditation. The fusion of spirituality and meditative rhythms combined with traditional Persian instruments like the santoor has a hypnotic effect.

Medusa Odyssey is a concept of live electronic performance where this duo of musicians, producers and DJs play their own music and accompany it live with synthesizers, electric guitar, flutes, vocals and drum machine.

​

This fusion of Bahramji and Medusa Odyssey creates a unique cool and ethnic atmosphere for a musical journey.

 

Bahramji leads with Medusa Odyssey a musical concept of live electronic performance where this trio of musicians, producers and DJs play their very own unique and distinctive infectious music which they improvise and produce live with synthesizer, electric guitar, flutes, vocals and drum machine. Then this fusion of Bahramji and Medusa Odyssey creates a really cool and ethnic mix. An atmospheres for a musical journey. In Ibiza they play at parties in hot spots like ‘Woomoon’ and ‘StoryTeller’ at Cova Santa, ‘Do not sit’ at Heart, Elements, Sunset Ashram, ‘Namaste’ at Las Dalias, Beachhouse and many more. Likewise, they have also performed at ‘Echo Waves Festival’ in Georgia, ‘Iris’ Beirut in Lebanon, ‘Rich Mix’ in London, at ‘Blue-Marlin’ and ‘Iris’ in Dubai, as well as at private events in Cyprus.
